Dr. Edward Javorka
A 1982 graduate of Purdue University, he has been employed by Hobart Animal Clinic since October of 1982. His special interests include soft tissue and cosmetic surgery, especially ear cropping. He is married to Linda, a 1977 graduate of the Purdue Veterinary Technician Program. They have 2 children, daughter Carrie, who is also a veterinarian and Mark, an industrial engineer. They have three dogs, one cat, and nine American shorthorn cows. Dr. Javorka enjoys farming, beekeeping, sailing and is an avid Rail Cat fan.

Dr. Norman Brooker
Born and raised in central Iowa, he attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and received a B.S. in Zoology in 1980 before his veterinary medicine degree in 1984. After a nearly 2 year stint as both a large and small animal doctor, Dr. Brooker decided to concentrate on pet practice. He began at the Hobart animal Clinic in 1986. Dr. Brooker doesn't have any particular specialties in practice, but likes to consider himself a "jack of all trades" and is not afraid to admit that he likes cats. Dr. Brooker has been married to his wife, Brenda, since 1979. They have three children: Nathan, Benjamin, and Alyssa. His family is usually sharing their house with at least three cats and two dogs. They have also had the occasional other furry, feathered, or scaled pets. Outside interests include just about anything that can be done outside, and especially hiking/backpacking in the mountains. Watching his children, Benjamin and Alyssa in baseball/softball consumes much of his spare time from spring until fall.

Dr. Brian Thompson
A 1998 graduate from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine. Excluding 2 years when he lived in Oregon, he has worked at the Hobart Animal Clinic as a D.V.M. since 1998. He began working for the clinic mowing the lawn in 1983, and has experience in all positions at the animal clinic. He also worked at the clinic with his father, Dr. Harold Thompson, Jr. until his retirement in 2004. His interest involve orthopedic surgery, dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Thompson's wife, Corinne is also a graduate of Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine. They have three children, Cole, Gavin, and Ryder, two dogs, and one cat.

Dr. Suzanne Regan
A graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she lives in Illinois with her husband and daughter. The family owns two cats and is currently between dogs. Dr. Regan spends the majority of the week at home caring for her daughter, so clients can only see her on Saturday. She enjoys both of her jobs immensely.

Dr. Holly Masepohl
A 1994 graduate of the Purdue's School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked at Hobart Animal Clinic since October of 2004. She has one dog, Rico. She enjoys spending her time off working in the yard, cycling, and being outdoors with her dog.

Dr. Cyndi Hatala
A 2005 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked at the Hobart Animal Clinic since 1998, starting as a doctor in 2005. She has 3 cats, Nelly, Nomi, and T.J. In her free time she enjoys sports and travel.






Kelly R.
Boarding/Kennel Manager
Kelly is a 2006 graduate from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin with a degree in Business Administraton and Psychology. Kelly has a Pitbull, a German Shepherd Pitbull mix, and 3 rescued cats. Kelly has worked at a number of Humane Societies in Wisconsin, Indiana, and South Carolina as well as pet stores and animal rescues. She enjoys spending her time off with her dogs, boyfriend, family and friends. She has worked in the animal health field for the past 8 years.
